To celebrate and build on the excitement of the UEFA Euro 2016 and all of Stena Line’s customers heading over to the event in France, Ardmore were asked to put together a short and reactive video for use on social media. To make the video as engaging as possible we used a variety of filming techniques including time lapse with our partners Street Monkey. This showed how the Stena Line team decorated their terminal to spread the celebration vibe among their customers. We also worked closely with our friends at Cool FM, who were broadcasting live on the day from the terminal and featured interviews from Keith Gillespie, Gerry Armstrong and the Stena Line Captain in the video, before bidding farewell to Pete Snodden, Rebecca and Pablo ahead of their UEFA Euro 2016 adventure. The video has had over 50,000 views to date on Stena Line’s UK and Ireland Facebook.
To further support UEFA Euro 2016 with Stena Line we ran a Snapchat campaign at Victoria Terminal 2 and 4 in Belfast Port which saw around 5,000 Stena customers use the Stena line Euro 2016 geofilter over a single weekend.
