This Autumn we are painting the city of Derry~Londonderry red with Translink!
Ardmore were asked to help Translink launch their Derry~Londonderry’s city bus service ‘Translink Foyle Metro’ by designing a new and fresh fleet of red buses which was revealed at a Foyle Legends event during Bus and Train Week and developing a campaign split over two bursts.
This advertising campaign went live on Monday 25th August with an impactful promo creative ‘way £2 go’ to build brand awareness of Foyle Metro and inform passengers on the new improved service and promotional fare of £2 adult day ticket with a 2nd burst of activity going live in October as a more brand piece ‘Street CRed’.
To promote the additional services, we also helped organise a variety of tactical activities including promotional activity with Q Street Team around the Foyle Street area alongside stands, t-shirts, and balloons to support the event. This activity was supported with outdoor, radio, digital, press and transit formats.
For the city that never stops, Translink’s new Foyle Metro service is certainly the Way 2 Go.
