Who we’re looking for:

Off the back of new client wins and expanding business needs, Ardmore is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, proactive, and outgoing Content Creator to join our Creative Team to create engaging and original social content. The ideal candidate lives and breathes all things social and is comfortable pushing boundaries to create content that reaches the right audiences at the right time.

What you’ll be doing:

The primary focus of this role is to create mobile-first video content (both short and long-form) and still content for various platforms including – but not limited to – Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter/X and LinkedIn.

Content will be created with an understanding of the objective, tone of voice, visual identity and target audience of our various Ardmore brands and clients. This will also encompass:

  • Developing social media strategies with an understanding of the client objectives, tone of voice, visual identity and target audience.
  • Leading content ideation/conceptualisation for client(s) while being able to work as part of a larger client team
  • Be our go-to person for trending content, viral trends, and industry updates, with the ability to inform the wider team on how to implement these for different audiences
  • Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all creative work at every stage.
  • Planning and managing content calendars, and scheduling content for optimal dates and times.
  • Analysing social performance, tracking KPIs, as well as recommending and implementing content changes for optimal performance.
  • Creating excellent written copy for social posts, onscreen graphics, subtitles etc.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities.
  • Comply with Data Protection Regulations with regard to safeguarding sensitive customer information at all times.
  • Perform the job in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to and support all other company policies, procedures, processes and working practices, including adhering to best practice.

What you need:

Essential Criteria

We are open to all levels of experience with the ideal candidate being able to showcase;

  • Demonstrable experience in ideas and execution of social campaigns.
  • Demonstrable experience in content creation in a similar capacity and at a similar output level.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Excellent written skills for selling posts, onscreen graphics, subtitles
  • Strong verbal and inter-personal skills – an excellent communicator
  • Skilled in using video and photo editing software (CapCut and Canva at a minimum)
  • Must have a familiarity with the best practices of a variety of social platforms to create the ideal platform-specific content e.g. various formats, lengths and styles to maximise reach and engagement.
  • Target focused and results driven.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to create, develop and communicate ideas.
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Enthusiastic and dependable.
  • Strong presentations skills.

Desirable Criteria

  • Meta Ads certification or GA4 certification
  • Animation skills

Other Requirements

  • Flexible and adjustable with the ability to work additional hours when required.
  • Hold a current & valid Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Satisfactory employment references. One should be your current or most recent employer.
