The Future
is ours.

The Ardmore Climate Target Collective (The ACT Collective) is an agency-wide initiative that’s been created to reduce Ardmore’s carbon emissions and to drive the business to net-zero status as quickly as possible.

We’re putting time and resources into transforming our business in three key ways: reducing our operational footprint to zero; educating and inspiring our people to reduce and report personal emissions; and enabling and empowering our clients and partners to make more sustainable choices through workshops, certifications and #changethebrief initiatives.

Energy Saving Mode

Flick that little switch up there and the carbon footprint of this website will drop a little bit. By taking out the pictures, getting rid of the animations and turning the colours a bit muddy, we can make this website a tiny bit better for the planet. And upset our graphic designers at the same time. Win-win.

Join us on our race to zero.

Our
Climate
Action Pledge

In conjunction with BITC

Recycle Logo

The Business in the Community NI Climate Action Pledge challenges all organisations based in Northern Ireland to commit to reducing their absolute scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by either 30% or 50% by 2030; and to work towards measuring and reporting their scope 3 GHG emissions

At Ardmore, we’re going further. We’re committed to going beyond this pledge by reducing our absolute scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2030 or sooner, and to measure and reduce scope 3 emissions. We’re determined to get to net-zero as quickly as we can.

WHAT WE DO

We completed an extensive and rigorous assessment process to measure our current climate impact – from energy efficient buildings to waste management and recycling, travel and transport and hybrid working practices – to produce an overall climate impact score, from which our new sustainability goal was set.

Following confirmation of our partnership with Planet Mark – a globally-recognised certification for progress and excellence in sustainability – we are now driving forward an industry-leading programme focused on implementing new sustainable practices throughout the agency.
